William B. Spofford

An alumnus of Lenox School for Boys, he received a BA from Antioch College, and a BD from the Episcopal Theological School (now the Episcopal Divinity School) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which bestowed its Distinguished Alumnus Award on him in 2009. He was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in 1945. He was married to the former Pauline L. Fawcett from 1944 until her death in 2008.
